MacBatec develops versatile and fully automated equipment for lead-acid battery regeneration and maintenance both for traction and standby power supply systems.
Why MacBatec is the best option
The efficiency of our desulphation process, the automation of our technology, and our continuous technical support allow us to offer the Best Battery Economy. This has made us a market leader in Battery Regeneration Technology since 1996
We maximize the battery desulphation results by cracking the lead sulphate crystals that suffocate the battery.
A traction battery costs USD 3,000 – 11,000.-
When MacBatec technology is used properly –one battery regeneration service every 18 months to double the life span- one device can maintain a fleet of 500 batteries.
MacBatec saves our clients USD 1,500,000 – 5,500,000.- by reducing their battery consumption.
Through efficiency we understand the level of restoration necessary to reach those savings.
There are companies that claim their devices can do the same as MacBatec’s; although, they also admit to much lower levels of efficiency. Choosing look-a-like devices such as these reduces or eliminates your savings in spite of their apparent lower purchase price.
The value of the professional MacBatec tool is reflected in the savings reported by our customers.
MacBatec ensures the highest level of efficiency possible for each battery.
We minimize the processing time and the labour required for battery regeneration.
Our machines are fully automatic. They change and modify the type and intensity of the electric pulses to each individual battery and then adjust automatically as the regeneration progresses.
As part of this process, we have developed software control that precisely regulates parameters such as current pulses, voltages and temperature. Each of these is individually measured more than 2,000 times per second and the process parameters are continuously readjusted based on the recorded values.
There is no need for the operator to select the battery regeneration settings or make any other adjustments during the process.
Battery load bank testing shows recovered battery capacity before and after regeneration.
Therefore, we achieve a perfect automated process that minimises the time and the skilled labour required for each regeneration and does not require highly qualified operators.
We know how batteries behave. We offer initial training and continuous technical support for all types of battery reconditioning.
Since 1998, we have created, developed and perfected our own software and hardware for battery regeneration machines in our research centre in Arvika (Sweden).
We know how batteries behave and we have procedures that optimise the battery regeneration process. We understand the technical and practical problems that arise and we are available to help you solve them.
As true technology developers, our specialists provide comprehensive support for the equipment (technology), methods and procedures that maximise the value of your industrial batteries. We provide technical training and support directly, without any third parties. To guarantee your success, we will continue providing you with technical support as long as we work together.
We sometimes hear from companies that are disappointed with their battery regenerator, which is easy for us to understand.
When efficiency is low, devices are manual or not fully automatic, and technical training and long-term support are lacking or inadequate, the battery regeneration results will be unsatisfying. In addition, these companies will be in dire need of skilled technicians who can monitor these devices and processes.
Under circumstances such as these, it’s not very likely that they will obtain any net savings at all.
It’s time to consider the fully automatic MacBatec devices.
We look forward to working with you.
Since 1998, MACBAT has developed unique technology for regeneration and restoration of lead-acid batteries in Arvika, Sweden. the solutions extended the life span of traction and standby power supply systems.
In 2014, the senior specialist staff of the former MACBAT combined their know-how and created a young and a highly motivated team. The goal was to continue the develop technology and global sales under the renewed brand MacBatec.
Our technology is sucessfully used in more than 30 countries.
MacBatec’s vision is to offer battery regeneration services at any location where we can save clients money and protect the environment.
Our vision is inspired by the Swedish inventor Bernt Wikh. Year after year, during hot summer days in Sweden, Wikh was forced to drink warm beer when he went sailing and after finding the battery to his refrigerator had worn out due to sulphation.
Wikh’s faith in technology drove him to start experimenting with how to break down the sulphate crystals that suffocate the batteries and prevent them from fully charging. In the beginning he had little success until he accidentally misconnected some cables and got remarkable results.
In 1998, the first successful battery regenerator prototype was launched on the market by the MacBatec team in Arvika, Sweden.
Today MacBatec offers climate-smart energy solutions that allow lead-acid batteries to be reused to ensure the best battery economy.
MacBatec’s mission is to further strengthen its global leadership in battery regeneration, developing cost-effective and environmentally friendly technology and restoration methods.
We work in collaboration with successful environmentally friendly battery producers, who help us get this technology to market more quickly while increasing the profits of our clients, stimulating local economies and protecting the global environment.
In addition to battery regenerators we offer a full range of related machines as battery discharge testers, automatic load banks (dischargers) and small working tools
MacBatec will strive to retain its position as a global leader in battery restoration methods and battery regeneration technologies, moving into new areas of battery use, reuse and technical development.
Our projects include devices designed for specific applications, such as the M4X models, or tailor-made for special batteries.
